WHEN DO YOU FEEL AT PEACE?
Peace is our purpose
Throughout the Bible, peace is suggested as a purpose or expectation for us, “live at peace with everyone”, “blessed are the peacemakers” and in Colossians 3:15 it says this, “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.” Allthough, peace can elude us at times it is certainly a worthy pursuit and one which pays dividends as we live our life. Peace transforms us and makes us into a better, more gentle and more giving person.
Examine your week. How many days did you truly feel at peace? How many of those days were directly tied to peace you made? Did others need to coax you toward peace or were you a willing participant? Peace is not tied to our circumstances but to our choices. Write a list of times you feel at peace.
