Your Church Was Made for This. Here's the Roadmap.

Fulfilling the Great Commission

A practical workbook for church leaders ready to move from conviction to action.

You feel the urgency.

So does your congregation. Now what?

Most churches believe in the Great Commission. Far fewer have a clear, actionable plan to live it out.

The gap between conviction and action isn't a faith problem — it's a framework problem. Leaders know they're called to go and make disciples. But the questions pile up fast: Where do we start? How do we mobilize our people? What does this actually look like for our church, in our context, with our resources?

That's exactly what this workbook was built to answer.

More than another Bible study. A strategy.

Fulfilling the Great Commission walks your team through a complete framework for understanding, planning, and executing your church's missions calling — whether you're just starting out or ready to go deeper.

Inside, you'll explore:

  • What the Great Commission actually commands — and what it costs to take it seriously

  • How to identify your church's unique calling and capacity

  • Practical strategies for growth, evangelism, and global engagement

  • How to build a missions culture that outlasts any single program or trip

  • Actionable next steps your leadership team can implement immediately

Written for senior pastors, missions directors, small group leaders, and anyone God has burdened with the question: "What's our part in this?"

Meet the Authors

Written by people who've actually done it.

Javier and Danielle Mendoza aren't writing from a classroom. They're writing from the field.

Since 2004, they've led mission trips across Central America and beyond. In 2011, they founded Connect Global — a mission organization built on proving sustainable solutions to solvable problems like access to education, clean water, and hunger. They've lived and worked in Honduras — spending three years on the ground establishing life giving programs and partnerships that continue growing and thriving today.

This workbook is the distillation of 20+ years of missions leadership, put into a format your whole church can use.

What is it? — the Great Commission is a command given by Jesus Christ to his disciples before he ascended into heaven.

In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

This commission is a call to all believers to go and share the good news of Jesus Christ with others, baptize them, and teach them to obey everything that Jesus has commanded.
