Javier and Danielle Mendoza are nonprofit and community leaders with more than two decades of experience in humanitarian service, organizational leadership, and international outreach. Since beginning their work leading international service initiatives in 2004, they have focused on developing sustainable, community-driven solutions to complex social challenges.
In 2011, they co-founded Connect Global, an international nonprofit organization committed to addressing solvable challenges affecting communities around the world, including poverty, food insecurity, barriers to education, access to clean water, maternal health, and other critical humanitarian needs. Their work emphasizes sustainable solutions, local partnerships, and long-term community impact rather than short-term intervention alone.
The organization reflects their longstanding commitment to leadership development, community engagement, service, and creating meaningful opportunities for individuals and families to put their faith into action.
Over the course of their work, Javier and Danielle have led and participated in humanitarian, community development, and outreach initiatives throughout the United States and internationally, including Haiti, Jamaica, Honduras, Colombia, Thailand, Mexico, Louisiana, Florida, South Dakota, New York, California, and Texas. Their work has also included advocacy and awareness surrounding issues such as poverty, human suffering, domestic violence, and access to essential resources.
Javier Mendoza provides strategic and organizational leadership across Connect Global and Hills Global Church, working alongside a collaborative team to shape vision, strengthen organizational culture, develop leaders, and advance the long-term mission of both organizations. He has completed Advanced Training in Leadership through the National Institute of Christian Leadership and is a Certified Trainer in Missions through Go To Nations.
Danielle Mendoza provides leadership in strategic partnerships, fundraising, organizational development, community engagement, and program advancement. She is also a Certified Trainer in Missions through Go To Nations and has played a significant role in developing partnerships and implementing strategies that support the continued growth and impact of Connect Global.
In addition to her nonprofit leadership, Danielle brings extensive professional experience in asset and property management, having worked with industry-leading organizations including Blue Rock Partners, Greystar, and The Richman Group, while working directly with clients such as Goldman Sachs. Her corporate background has contributed to her approach to organizational strategy, operational excellence, relationship management, and sustainable growth.
Javier and Danielle are both licensed and ordained ministers and maintain professional ministry affiliations and credentials through MAJC, The Fellowship Network, and LINC. They also serve on the Board of Directors for Legacy Place, an organization dedicated to providing encouragement, resources, and support to couples navigating infertility, miscarriage, pregnancy and infant loss, and childlessness.
Their commitment to service is shared by their daughter, Saige, who participated in her first international service experience in Thailand at four years old and has continued to serve through both international and local initiatives.
Their work is also deeply informed by firsthand experience living within the communities they serve. Since 2015, the Mendoza family has twice made La Ceiba, Honduras, their home, spending a combined three years living and working in the country while establishing programs, relationships, and community partnerships designed for lasting impact.
Today, Javier and Danielle are based in the Tampa Bay area of Florida, which serves as home to their family and the organizational headquarters for their ongoing nonprofit, humanitarian, and community leadership work.

Kevin & Shekinah Schwartz, Pastors of The Church at Asheville in beautiful Asheville, North Carolina.
Shekinah was called to preach at a young age and now serves as Lead Pastor.
Kevin received a call to serve in Missions at a young age and now serves as Church Administrator and Missions Director.
Shekinah moved from Louisiana and Kevin from Indiana to find each other and our combined ministry in the mountains of Western North Carolina.
Our church's mission has been to love people into a relationship with Jesus. This love is vibrant and obvious in our wonderful church family.
Along with pastoring both have felt called in areas outside the immediate church family. This call is to a community in Western North Carolina and to unifying the Body of Christ from ministry to ministry and church to church.
We are ONE Body and we desire to see the Body come together as one.
We also have a call to foreign missions and serve with partner organizations in several countries.
One of our dearest relationships / friendships is with the Connect Global family and Javier, Danielle, and Saige in particular.
We love the work of God that is taking place in Honduras, whether assisting school children, new-borns, young mothers, orphans, firemen, policemen, the Honduran Body of Christ . . . you name it.
There is so much God is doing in Honduras! We are especially excited about the new Missions Program that is training Hondurans for the mission field outside of Honduras. And of course, we love Jorge and Janeth Amador, who lead the Connect Global team in Honduras!
We have gained so many friendships from our interaction with Connect Global that bless us and inspire us to live more fully for Christ!
Connect Global is about building relationships and completing the Great Commission.
That is certainly our heart as well. We were blessed to serve as board members of Connect Global.

Jason and BonnieRuth Rolf have been serving in ministry together since 2001. They have been married for 21 years and have a dog named zoe. Together they have served as College/Young Adults and youth pastors in Grandville Mi. They moved to Texas in 2006 where they have served as Live Productions Associate Directors, Marriage and Family Pastors, Care Pastors and Lead Pastors. Together Jason and BonnieRuth have a heart to see people discover how to hear God for themselves, know his word and to know that every story matters.
Jason and BonnieRuth have a podcast called Barren Not Broken where they share their journey of 20 + years of infertility, miscarriage and Childlessness not by choice. While also encouraging others they can have hope in the midst of what seems like darkness. They desire to come alongside couples who are facing this trauma to encourage and equip them to live strong healthy marriages in spite of the deep pain this journey can inflict.
Currently The Rolf's have just recently purchased 48 acres of land in North Texas in a town called Bonham where they are breaking ground on a retreat center for couples who face Infertility, childlessness not by choice and child loss. They want these couples to have a place to process the hard decisions, to restore and rejuvenate. As well the property will be offered to Pastors and their families who are needing to rest and refresh. The retreat center will be called "Legacy Place" They could not be more excited for the days ahead and the legacy that will be discovered and built.
We have been in partnership through prayer and support with Connect Global for the last 4 years. In 2022 we had the honor of being asked to join the Board of directors. We wholeheartedly believe in the vision and mission of this organization. It has been an honor to serve with such incredible leaders who work tirelessly to express the love of Jesus and meet felts needs. The Mendozas are faithful and generous leaders who empower those around them to look and love more like Jesus. We are excited to continue partnering with this team to see lives and legacies strengthened and changed.
