Part 4 - Love Demonstrated
GOD’S LOVE FOR HUMANITY
We are created to love and be loved. The bible shows us in 1 John 4:19 that we only are able to love because He (God) first loved us. How we respond to that love is through our actions, our giving, and our gratitude. Once we believe in this message and tell others of our belief we are now invited to share in this love story by loving God back and loving others.
Love costs. It cost God sending His son Jesus to be born here, live, die, and be brought back to life in order for us to get the full picture, We must be willing to ‘die’ to our old way of doing things, let go of the baggage that holds us back, and accept the gift of the Christmas season, which is life and life to the fullest.
This is a love story that goes beyond a happy ending, it goes on forever and that is what the season is all about.
