Part 4 - Love Demonstrated
Love is not always easy. At times it may feel like a burden or a task to far. Love may have not come easy for you growing up or what was called love may have in fact been abuse. If this is your story, first of all, I am sorry you experienced that level of pain. Secondly, I want to let you know that was not love, and it is exactly what God sent His son to conquer and heal you from. See Ephesians 5:1,2,11,13-14
The bible shows us plainly what He meant for us in regards to Love in 1 Corinthians 13:4–8a
There are many examples we can point to where love is not demonstrated properly in society, in our own families, and yes, unfortunately in the Church. I hope that this Christmas you will not give up on the life changing and glorious love that God sent based on the bad examples here on earth.
You are loved, and you are here for love.
