It Starts With an Invitation
Just this past Easter, we opened our home to a local micro church of moms and their children. We offered a simple home-cooked meal, shared laughter around the table, and lived for a little while in the kind of warmth that only comes when people decide to truly see and be there for one another. It was fun, chaotic, and sacred all at the same time.
One of the mothers asked if we would dedicate her two children. We prayed for them and their mother — that they would be known, they would feel loved, and they would find faith and belonging as they grow.
This is what mission looks like in our own living room. An open door, a pot roast, and the willingness to say: you matter here.
